I read with interest about Editorial II BJA 98(1):3(2007). It is commendable what the RCA is striving towards Education and training. I fully agree with the authors that there was no incentive in the past, except for preparation towards FRCA examination, to read these articles. Now one can collect CME points will definitely encourage the anesthetists all over the world to attempt these MCQs. This should be welcomed and will enhance the reputation of the journal. I would like to make a suggestion. In the future we should be able to store our CME points electronically so that we can print them out once a year either before the RITA or revalidation and the college tutor/ clinical director should be able to access them using our College reference number. Being paperless will save the planet and less hassle. As an inducement the RCA should also publish the names of anesthetists who collect maximum number of points in the journal. Finally well done and keep the good work going.
