Erratum

BJA (2006) 97, 658–665

Dexmedetomidine as an anaesthetic adjuvant in patients undergoing intracranial tumour surgery: a double-blind, randomized and placebo-controlled study (BJA 2006; 97: 658–665)

There was an error in the last sentence of the conclusion of the abstract.

This read:

‘Compared with fentanyl, the trachea was intubated faster without respiratory depression.’

It should have read:

‘Compared with fentanyl, the trachea was extubated faster without respiratory depression.’

The publishers apologize for this error.
