Use of the Intubating Laryngeal Mask in failed intubation associated with amyloid macroglossia

Editor—Several options are available in the management of failed intubation. The Intubating Laryngeal Mask (ILM) has been reported to be an effective tracheal intubation guide.1 2 We report a case of failed intubation resulting from amyloid macroglossia managed with the ILM.
