CONGENITAL FIBRO-OSSEOUS DYSPLASIA OF JAWS ("HIPPOPOTAMUS FACE")
An anaesthetic problem

Two brothers with "hippopotamus face" deformities presented for corrective surgery under general anaesthesia. In the first patient, blind nasal intubation was successful. In the second patient, trache otomy was avoided by the use of an intubating bronchoscope.
