PROLONGED APNOEA AFTER SUXAMETHONIUM INJECTION ASSOCIATED WITH EYE DROPS CONTAINING AN ANTICHOLINESTERASE AGENT

Eye drops containing ecothiopate iodide, a potent anticholinesterase, produced symptoms simulating intestinal obstruction and prolonged the neuromuscular action of suxamethonium.
